ReverseMortgageHamilton.ca is published by Dominion Lending Centres Homestead Financial, an Ontario-licensed mortgage brokerage (licence #11711). Here is what the site itself gathers about visitors, which is almost nothing.
Information gathered by this site
- No personal details. You won't find a form, login or mailing-list sign-up anywhere on it.
- The tools keep nothing. The calculator and the 10-question check do their work on your own device and forget your answers when the tab closes.
- Routine hosting logs. Our host, Cloudflare, records basic technical details such as the page requested and the time, which it uses to keep the site running and safe.
The estimate form on the main site
The estimate buttons open a form hosted on reversemortgagebroker.ca, the brokerage's main site, and that site's own privacy policy applies. The link carries a short label saying which page of this site you came from; it never carries anything about you.
Emails and calls
If you get in touch, what you send is used to reply and, at your request, to help with a mortgage. The brokerage handles it under its obligations as a licensed Ontario mortgage brokerage and under PIPEDA, Canada's private-sector privacy law.
