General information only
These pages explain reverse mortgages and related choices for homes in Hamilton in general terms. They are not legal, tax or financial advice tailored to you. Before any reverse mortgage in Canada is signed, a lawyer acting for you goes through it with you.
Dates and figures
Rates, fees, house prices and City of Hamilton programs all change. Each page lists its sources and the date its numbers were last checked, and in the end it is the lender's own offer, based on its appraisal, that decides the amount.
Estimates
What the calculator and the estimate form give you is an estimate. Approval comes only from a lender, after it has done its own review.

Links point to outside sources, such as the City of Hamilton, the Ontario government and the Cornerstone Association of REALTORS, so you can check the figures. The brokerage doesn't control those sites.
